Danish photographer Peter Funch sets his camera up on the same NYC street corner for 2 weeks at a time, capturing images of pedestrians walking by. Once he has amassed photos all taken from this same spot, he chooses a recurring theme—yawning, smoking, people wearing red—and photoshop in pedestrians who fit that theme. The results are outstanding.

2 days ago • 5 notesfinals week - 2 am - ichat.

- Jon: i think toadstool is a funny word
- Jon: its so descriptive
- Jon: toads sit on it
what i am thankful for today:
- the fact that when i don’t have to seriously worry about where my next meal is coming from.
- that (most of) my friends live their lives are comedies, and not tragedies.
- my education. i’m in the throes of finals week right now and it’s horrible, but the truth is i’m so glad i did the traditional 4-year college thing. it’s pretty incredible how many opportunities student life holds.

I saw Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the Grande Jatte in Chicago when I was about 8 years old. It absolutely blew my mind. Anyway… Georges Seurat was born 150 years ago today.
reblogging because i’m doing my art history study guide right now & this is on it :-)
